Hi, I’m Chelsea- counsellor and psychotherapist at The Mind Collected. I take a flexible, collaborative approach, working with professionals, couples and children, to customize and create a therapy that works uniquely for them.

Chelsea offers therapy:

  • Neurodiverse populations

Specialties

  • Adults: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Life transitions, and Emotional Skills

  • Children/Youth: Developmental and learning disorders, Neurodivergence, Identity Issues, Emotional Skills

  • Relational Challenges for Couples, and Parents and their children

What I specialise in:

I have focused a great part of my work on finding innovative ways to customize therapy to suit a variety of needs and goals.

Drawing from my background in both counselling and psychology, I am able to innovate using a variety of therapeutic approaches (such as ACT, Narrative Therapy and Play Therapy), to address a wide range of issues - be it burn out, anxiety, and depression, or developmental and identity disorders .

Through flexibility and exploration, I work with individuals to create new-found narratives and uncover insight and purpose.

Who I work with:

I work with individuals facing challenges such as work stress, anxiety, anger, trauma, and Bipolar Disorder, as well as those with neurodivergent needs.

I also have deep experience supporting children and young adults working through developmental and identity issues, and providing counsel to their parents and family to support their holistic care.

My work has also expanded to supporting individuals who might face difficulties in exploring their gender and sexual orientation and also couples facing relational difficulties.

WHAt TO EXPECT

I like to work with a dash of fun and creativity during my sessions, using a mix of hands-on activities when necessary, in supporting you through life’s hurdles. I wish to know your unique story, and walk with you on a path of aligned goals. By creating a safe and open space with you to speak about your life stressors, we will uncover your core-beliefs and collaborate on ways to create the change you want in your life.

MY PROMISE

Non-judgemental stance: I am here to listen about the difficulties in your life. I am genuinely interested in understanding your lived experiences and will come with an open-mind and heart.

Creative connections: Do not be afraid to explore ideas that you might have with me. I appreciate creativity and collaboration, and specialize in drawing from your strengths and input, to customise sessions according to your style.

Collaboration and empowerment: I will check in at intervals to ensure we are aligned in moving towards your desired destination. This also means furnishing you with both the internal and external resources to support your journey of self-discovery and progress.
